September 16, 2008 Fundraising Banquet
Join Care Net of Cadillac for our first annual fundraising banquet to be held at Timber Wolf Lake in Lake City, Michigan.
Banquet begins at 6:30 p.m. with appetizers starting at 5:30 p.m.
Featured speaker will be Kirk Walden. His story is filled with laughter, sorrow, hope—and in the end, triumph. Most important, he tells the story of pregnancy care ministries, where spiritual battles rage each day in the hearts of the men and women who come looking for answers. An evening with Kirk is a journey filled with humor, vision and challenge—one you will remember fondly for years to come.

This event is underwritten by special friends of Care Net of Cadillac, so there is no charge to those attending. However, in order for us to be good stewards with God's money, we must let people know that this is a Fund-Raising Banquet for Care Net of Cadillac. Therefore, we must request that only adults attend.
October 9, 13, 16, 20, 2008 Annual Volunteer Training
At least once a year, Care Net of Cadillac offers a formal volunteer training session for all who are interested in working with Pregnancy Resource Center clients. If you have a desire to serve the ministry in this way and are available to attend a 22-hour training, we would love to talk with you. During this training, you will learn how to respond to individuals facing a crisis pregnancy and have opportunities to serve the families in our community.
Training will be held at the First Church of the Nazarene from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. You must be available to attend all 22 hours of the training to acquire a certificate of completion as well as be qualified to work one on one with clients.
October 25, 2008 Father-Daughter Purity Gala
This gala event will take place on Saturday, October 25, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Because this is a dressy event, we are asking that fathers wear a suit or if desired, they may wear a tux. The young ladies are to wear formal or semi-formal wear and the skirts are to be long. We desire that all young women dress modestly.
During the evening, you can look forward to a delicious dinner and a special program.
There will be a time of covenant signing between fathers and daughters as we recognize our responsibility before God to lead a holy and pure life, both as fathers and as daughters.
You will have an opportunity to recognize the significant relationship between fathers and daughters and if you desire, there will be a photographer onsite to take a picture of this special event for you.
This event is open to all fathers and daughters ages 12 on up.
